The City of Rock Island has partnered with Millennium Waste to provide a refuse and yard waste drop off service to Rock Island residents from 7:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturdays located at:

Guidelines & Restrictions
There is a $20 fee per vehicle with no more than the equivalent of a full-size pickup load per trip. Cash is no longer accepted as a form of payment. All major credit cards as well as personal checks will be accepted.
All loads must be covered/tarped.
If residents use two-ply paper yard waste bags, the paper bags may be thrown into the yard waste containers.
No hazardous waste, tires, or appliances will be accepted.
Plastic bags may not be thrown into the yard waste containers. A trash container will be available for the disposal of discarded plastic bags.
Residents may bring yard waste to the site in bags or cans of their choice.
Residents should use only twine or string to bundle brush - no wire or plastic ties.
Yard waste mixed with regular household waste will not be taken.
