How do I dispose of items that cannot be collected with my garbage?
Rock Island residents may contact the Public Works Department to schedule a Special Pickup or use the Refuse and Yardwaste Drop-Off Center. Rock Island County residents may dispose of household hazardous materials at the Waste Commission of Scott County’s Household Hazardous Materials (HHS) facility.
