Temporary signs may be placed on City boulevards from 12:00 noon on Thursday to 8:00 am the following Monday if they comply with the following requirements:
No part of the sign may be closer than five feet from the curb or edge of roadway.
The sign must not impede use of a sidewalk.
The sign must not create a safety hazard.
Temporary signs may not be placed on City property at any other time.
Confiscation of Signs Violating Policy
The City may confiscate temporary signs in violation of this policy. Confiscated signs will be stored at the Public Works Department for a minimum of two weeks and will then be destroyed. Sign owners may retrieve signs from the Public Works Department during the storage period.
