Where can I park in downtown Rock Island?
There is designated unlimited free parking or two hour parking zones in the downtown. Metered spaces are also available in the Parking Ramp and City Parking Lot C. Downtown Parking Permits may be purchased to park vehicles in unreserved, unmetered spaces in the Parking Ramp, City Parking Lot C, Lot D, and Lot E on a first-come first-served basis.

How do I request a change in traffic control or signage?
All requests for changes in traffic control and signage need to be submitted in writing to the City’s Traffic Engineering Committee.

What is the City's boulevard sign policy?
Temporary signs may be placed on City boulevards from 12 noon on Thursday to 8 a.m. the following Monday if no part of the sign is closer than five feet from the curb or edge of the roadway, the sign does not impede the use of a sidewalk, and the sign must not create a safety hazard.
