Biography
Alderman Parker was elected to City Council in April of 2017 to represent Fifth Ward. His term will expire in May 2025.

Dylan Parker lives in the Broadway Historic District of Rock Island's 5th Ward with his wife, Tia, and their three children. He grew up in Davenport, Iowa, attending Davenport Central High School and obtaining two bachelor's degrees from St. Ambrose University before moving to Rock Island in 2012. He works as a construction analyst with the Indiana-Illinois-Iowa Foundation for Fair Contracting.

When not busy enjoying Rock Island's several community events or activities, Dylan enjoys tinkering with antique motorcycles and scooters or weeding his vegetable gardens. 

When asked what drew him to Rock Island, he answers the strong, well organized neighborhoods, history and unique character of Rock Island made him want to move here.
