What is the fee if I want to only participate in a land or water aerobics class a few times a session?
The drop in fee for land or water aerobics class is $4.00. On classes that are full for the session we do not allow anyone to drop in.

Do I have to live in Rock Island to sign up for Rock Island Parks & Recreation programs?
No, anyone can register for our programs. Rock Island Fitness & Activity Center members receive a discount on most fitness classes.

Will the program be held today, since the weather is questionable?
To check the status of a sports, recreation program or event due to inclement weather, please call (309) 732-RAIN as it is updated with changes or cancellations due to weather.

What is the fee if I want to only participate in a land or water aerobics class a few times a session?
The drop in fee for land or water aerobics class is $4.00. On classes that are full for the session we do not allow anyone to drop in.

Can I sign up for a fitness class after the session has begun and do I still pay the full price?
The fitness classes will be pro-rated after the third week has been completed. After the third week then the class is pro-rated by day.
5.
What is your refund policy for programs?
Refunds will not be issued for programs that have begun, trips or workshops unless the spot can be filled from a waiting list. A $5.00 service charge will be deducted to defray clerical and administrative costs. Processing of refunds takes approximately 15 to 30 days.
6.
When do I need to register by?
Most sports programs have a designated registration deadline so that teams, coaches and supplies may be arranged. After the registration deadline a $5.00 late fee may be charged if there is still available space. To avoid cancelled classes due to low enrollment, recreation programs should be registered for at least one week in advance.
