To obtain a copy of a police report, requests must be made in writing and requests by personal delivery, email or other means are accepted. Requests shall be submitted to the Rock Island Police Department, located at 1212 5th Avenue, Rock Island, IL 61201. It may take up to five business days to obtain the report.
To obtain a copy of a fire or inspection report, requests must be made in writing and requests by personal delivery, email or other means are accepted. Requests shall be submitted to the office of the City Clerk, located on First floor, City Hall,1528 Third Avenue, Rock Island, IL 61201. It may take up to five business days to obtain the report.

A sign-in sheet is available inside Council Chambers by the entrance, where you are asked to write your name, address and the topic on which you wish to address. You will be called on during the "Public Comment" portion of the meeting. You are asked to limit your comments to five minutes.
