Mayor Ashely Harris will deliver his 2026 State of the City Address on Thursday, Jan. 29 at Bally’s Quad Cities Casino and Hotel, 777 Bally Blvd., Rock Island in the Event Center. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at 12:15 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public. A lunch option is available for $10 by registering

at https://RockIslandStateoftheCity.eventbrite.com by 5 p.m. Jan. 28.


In his address, Mayor Harris will focus on a theme of “Commitment to Community” by

highlighting accomplishments the City has made in the last year and outlining goals for

2026.


“I look forward to presenting my first State of the City address, focusing on the City’s

Commitment to Community through programs, economic opportunities and investing in our

residents.” Harris said.

When: Thursday, January 29 at 12 p.m. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.

page.
