Get your costumes ready for a free Halloween event just for kids! Goodwill of the Heartland and Rock Island Parks and Recreation proudly present Fright Night in the Park on Thursday, Oct 24 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Schwiebert Riverfront Park in Rock Island.

This fun and safe Halloween event will feature trick-or-treating, a costume contest and much more. The first 500 children will receive a free goodie bag and community agencies will host various activities and trick-or-treat stations. A live DJ will keep the energy high with dance music, while dance groups and the QC Thriller Flash Mob will bring exciting performances to the main stage. 

Secret guest judges will roam the park, awarding costume contest prize certificates to those with the best costumes. These certificates can be redeemed for special prizes.
