On Wednesday, December 7, 2022 detectives from the Rock Island Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division obtained an arrest warrant for Destiny T. L. Thomas, date of birth August 18, 2002 of Rock Island,
for the charges of Home Invasion (2 Counts) and Aggravated Battery (2 Counts) with bond set at $250,000.00 (10% applies).
On Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at approximately 12:07 A.M. the Rock Island Police Department responded to the Maple Ridge Apartments, 3700 5th Street, where a 15-year-old female was found suffering from a life-threatening stab wound. The victim underwent surgery at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City and is in stable condition.
