On Thursday, April 7, 2022 at approximately 1:47 P.M. the Gas and Electric Credit Union at 2300 4 Avenue was robbed by two masked suspects, with one armed with a handgun.
Within minutes of receiving the call, and with the assistance of Davenport Police Department, three suspects were taken into custody in the 600 block of East 6 Street, Davenport.
Detectives with the Rock Island Police Department have obtained arrest warrants for 19-year old Dantonis Fair, 21-year old Theus Randolph, and 20-year old Alexis Merchant for two counts of Armed Robbery. All three suspects await extradition to Illinois.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate this case in cooperation with the Davenport Police Department.
