Enjoy a Family Fun Day this Saturday with some Library “Olympics”
The official Winter Olympics may be wrapping up this Saturday, but families can still enjoy gold medal fun on Saturday, February 19 at the Rock Island Public Library.
The first monthly “Family Fun Saturday” opens with Library Olympics games and activities this Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the Rock Island Downtown Library, 401 19th Street.
Families and teens can drop into the second-floor Community Room anytime during event hours for a painting craft, oversized yard games, “Minute to Win It” contests, “Olympic” ring toss, and ring guessing game. The event is free and open to children with a caregiver or parent, and teens ages 12 to 18.
No registration is required. Masks must be worn at all times when inside the library.
The next Family Fun Saturday is March 12, also at the Downtown Library.
