Recognizing we could all use positive messages during these difficult times, the Rock Island Arts Commission has decided to display words of encouragement at various locations on City sidewalks.
Recognizing we could all use positive messages during these difficult times, the Rock Island Arts Commission has decided to display words of encouragement at various locations on City sidewalks. The project is using a product called “Rainworks”. The messages come to life only when it rains.
The messages are there to remind our community that we are strong, need to continue to stand together and love our heroes in Rock Island and beyond!
The Arts Commission will have twenty different locations where the messages can be found. The two currently displayed can be found in front of City Hall.
