Highland Springs and Saukie Golf Course have many upcoming summer opportunities for learning and enjoying the game of golf as well as fun events to enjoy.

Group Golf Lessons are offered at Highland Springs Driving range Mondays at 8:00 am or 6:15 pm beginning June 17th, Wednesdays at 12:00 pm or 6:15 pm beginning June 12th, or Saturdays at 8:00 am beginning July 13th. Lessons are taught by PGA teaching professional Jeff LaRue. All sessions are four weeks long and one hour each. Fee is $65.00. All participants will receive a free round of golf upon completion of the session. Call (309) 732-7275 to register. Private lessons are also available and can be scheduled for individuals and groups.

Tips and Tees is a Monday night program available June 17th, July 15th, and August 19th at Highland Springs Golf Course. Get some “Tips” on the range and then “Tee It Up” on the course. Participants receive a bucket of range balls with personalized simple & effective tips from PGA teaching pro Jeff LaRue. After the range, they play up to 9 holes of golf with cart to practice what was learned. Fun contests and prizes will be offered throughout the round. After golf participants can hang out at the clubhouse and enjoy one free beverage of choice for free. Fee is $35. Check in begins at 4:15pm. Range and tips will be available from 4:30-5:15 pm, with groups teeing off at 5:00 pm.

Couples’ Nights at Saukie Golf Course includes nine holes of golf for two person teams with a different format offered each event. Golf is followed by a fun cookout, making this a very popular Friday night tradition. Couples’ Nights are scheduled for June 14th, July 19th, and August 16th with a 5:30 pm shotgun start.
