Beginning on Monday, May 20, 2019, 2^nd Avenue between 17^th and 18^th Streets will be closed to through traffic to allow for water main work. 

Vehicle traffic will be maintained using a detour route around the repair using 17^th and 18^th Streets via a connection along 3^rd Avenue.  Eastbound 2^nd Avenue traffic prior to the repair area will be detoured southbound on 17^th Street, eastbound on 3^rd Avenue, and then north on 18^th Street.  Westbound 2^nd Avenue traffic prior to the repair area will be detoured southbound on 18^th Street, westbound on 3^rd Avenue, then north on 17^th Street.

Travel delays can be expected during the construction at or near this location.  The resumption of normal traffic will be restored on or before Friday, May 24^th. 

Please follow all posted construction signs for detour directions as needed, and watch for trucks entering and leaving the construction zones.
