On Monday, April 1, 2019 at 2024 hours the Rock Island Police Department received a 911 call reporting shots fired in the area of 15th St 9th Av.

Officers arriving on scene located a victim in the 900 block of 14 1/2 Street, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  The victim was treated on scene by officers, later transported by the Rock Island Fire Department to Unity Point and later flown to OSF Saint Frances in Peoria where they remain in stable condition.

Shortly after transporting the first victim, a second victim was located inside a residence in the 900 block of 14 1/2 St.  This victim had sustained a gunshot wound.  The victim was also transported by the RIFD to Unity Point, where they were treated and released.

While investigating this incident, the department received a call for a gunshot victim in the 900 block of 26th St.  It was learned that this subject had received a grazing wound related to this incident, but had left the scene prior to officers arrival.  Victim number three was also transported to Unity Point for treatment where they were treated and released.
