Southbound 38th Street between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue is closed for an emergency water main repair.  The road closure is necessary for the safety of the crews performing the repair as well as the motoring public.

Southbound traffic will be detoured east on 7th Avenue, south on 44th Street, west on 14th Avenue and then back to 38th Street.

Travel delays can be expected at or near this location.  Please watch for trucks entering and leaving the repair zone.
