For the past several years, members of the Rock Island Police Department have generously supported various community initiatives to improve police / community relations or assist those in need.  The past efforts have included "Cops and Freezer Pops", "Cereal for Summer", and the "Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort".  This year, we have elected to support the missions of Christian Family Care & Q.C. Heart of Hope.  We will be seeking to collect the following items:

*  Deodorant (Men & Women)

*  Body Wash & Soap

*  Shampoo & Conditioner

*  Tooth Brush & Tooth Paste

*  Disposable Razors (Men & Women)

*  Feminine Hygiene Products

*  Baby Diapers & Wipes

*  Styrofoam Cups (6oz)

*  39 Gallon Garbage Bags

*  13 Gallons White Garbage Bags

*  Toilet Papers & Paper Towels

*  Men's Underwear (size small & medium)

Our campaign will run until the end of the month.  Citizens wishing to help make our campaign a success may join us by contributing, please feel free to stop by the Rock Island Police Department 1212 5th Avenue.  You can place your items into the grocery carts located in our front lobby.  Thank you for your support!
