Beginning on Monday, October 8, 2018, 6th Avenue between 21st and 22nd Street will be closed due to the removal of the skywalk at the Rock Island School District Administration Office building.
Beginning on Monday, October 8, 2018, 6th Avenue between 21st and 22nd Street will be closed due to the removal of the skywalk at the Rock Island School District Administration Office building. The road closure is necessary for the safety of the crews performing the removal as well as the motoring public.
The anticipated completion date of this work is to be Friday, October 19, 2018. However, the road will open earlier if the removal is completed sooner.
Travel delays can be expected at or near this location. Please watch for trucks entering and leaving the area.
