He will share the “tricks” to getting around Disney and how to best take advantage of your time. Additionally, Dr. Storey will pull back the curtain on the magic, sharing on how Disney instills expectations, Disney traditions, and trains cast members. Learn how the magic happens!.
The library's Coffee and a Movie Morning series continues Monday, April 9, with a free movie for adults at 9:30 am in the Downtown Library Community Room. The newly released movie, set against the drama of a conflict in Olympic ice skating, is rated PG-13. The event is free and includes coffee and donuts.
The library offers a no-pressure night of fun and creativity for adults with Bad Art Night at the Library, Wednesday, April 11, 5:30 to 7:00 pm, Downtown Library. Participants will use the library's stockpile of leftover art supplies to make purposely bad art. The worst art piece wins a tacky trophy. Who says you can't craft? With bad art, anyone can!
Later in April, the library provides a chance to catch up with your favorite Marvel superheroes before the next movie comes out. Marvel Movie Night will be offered from 5:00 to 7:30 pm on Monday, April 16 at the Downtown Library. The featured movie is based on Marvel's best-selling crossover storyline "Civil War" comic (Team Cap or Team Iron Man - you decide!) The event includes free popcorn, a Marvel libguide, and the movie. With a PG-13 rating, the movie is intended for teen and adult audiences.
April events for adults also include Retro Gamers Club, offered from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, April 18 at the Downtown Library.
