In January, one-on-one technology help is available from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on Friday, January 12 at the Rock Island Downtown Library, 401 19th Street, Friday, January 19 at the 30/31 Library, 3059 30th Street, and Friday, January 26 at the Southwest Library, 9010 Ridgewood Road.
The Technology Open Labs can provide individualized help with a variety of needs, including personal devices, general questions, or setting up or using email, social media, the Internet, and library digital services. Tech help is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants should bring along their device, if possible, and any user names or passwords they will need to login.
Rock Island Library has been offering the drop-in tech help sessions on the second, third, and fourth Fridays of each month since September 2017. For additional dates, please visit the Find Events calendar via the library website, call 309-732-READ, or follow the library's social media sites.
