Learn how to not outlive your money in the retirement marathon and other useful tips at a free workshop on Tuesday at the Downtown Library.
The non-profit Foundation for Financial Education, Midwest Chapter, will present "Retirement Planning in an Ever Changing Economy" at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at the Rock Island Downtown Library, 401 19th Street.
Presenter Ryan Biniak will discuss how not to outlive your savings in the retirement marathon, planning for long-term care considerations, how taxes and inflation affect retirement, and such topics as stretch IRAs, required minimum distributions, and exit strategies.
The workshop is free and lasts about an hour. No registration is required.
