Resurfacing of the east parking lot of the Rock Island Downtown Library, 401 19^th Street, will temporarily change parking and access to the outside book return. 

From Tuesday, June 24 to Friday, June 27, the east parking lot off 4^th Avenue and 20^th Street will be closed to all traffic. 

Library patrons may park in the library’s south lot, immediately across from the portico along the alley, or on the street. Enter the south lot off 19^th Street, as the alley will be closed at 20^th Street. 

While the lot is closed, library patrons will not be able to access the outside book return at the Downtown Library. Patrons should bring materials inside, or use the exterior return boxes at the Rock Island Southwest Branch, 9010 Ridgewood Road, and Rock Island Watts-Midtown Branch, 2715 30^th Street.
