Bring your families to the City's 1st Annual Open House this Saturday from noon to 3 p.m! The event takes place on 5th Avenue in front of Central Fire Station, 1313 5th Avenue, Rock Island. 

Meet our first responders; tour the police and fire departments; see inside a Rock Island Fire Department fire engine, ambulance, police car, the new Police Department UTV, look inside one of the City’s new snowplows and a bucket truck.

Watch demonstrations by K-9 Officer Blue and learn how a police dog helps officers; watch the Fire Department demonstrate their drone and learn how it helps firefighters do their job, and learn more about the public works department.

Enjoy free face painting, refreshments and food vendors.
