Activity Permit (Great River Plaza)

Requirements


An activity permit is issued to Plaza users (profit or non-profit) that primarily hold activities and events that are passive in nature, including, but not limited to, theatrical performances, display of artworks, cultural activities, and more active uses including amplified musical concerts and festivals as described in Chapter 8, Sec. 8-230 of the Great River Plaza Ordinance Chapter 8, Sec. 8-232.

Application Fee Required
  • For-profit application: $35.00 per activity/event and $250.00 permit fee per activity/event
  • Not-for-profit application: $20.00 per activity/event and $35.00 permit fee per activity/event

Permit Application Process

Please submit completed application, insurance, and application fee to the City Clerk's office. Permit fees must be paid to the City Clerk prior to operation on the Plaza. It is required that a vending cart be inspected and a health permit obtained from the City Health Inspector prior to operating a Food Vending Cart/Booth on the Plaza.
