Summer Day Camp

The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center Summer Day Camp Program is available to youth ages six to fourteen during the months of June and July. It is open to families from the Rock Island-Milan School District. This program has grown to 180 youth per day providing free, safe and fun activities from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm daily.

Summer Day Camp activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Academic activities
  • Museum trips
  • Financial literacy for all ages
  • College preparation for youth ages 11-14
  • Life Skills and Prevention Programs
  • Career exploration
  • Swimming lessons
  • Variety of art and recreation activities
  • Free lunch and uniform
