Beautiful Parks with Acres of Green Space
Rock Island Parks and Recreation offers many beautiful parks with over 850 acres of green space for residents and visitors to enjoy many recreational activities. Rentals are available for picnics, special events, and weddings. Park rules apply to all park locations.

New Park in the Plans
The Parks Department is coordinating with the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center and Community and Economic Development Department to design a new park located across from the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center in the Old Chicago neighborhood.
