The Rock Island Parks & Recreation Department maintains a scenic 18 hole disc golf course in beautiful Longview Park. The course layout utilizes both upper and lower portions of Longview Park with par 3, 4, and par 5, holes. Each "tee and green" provides panoramic views of the Park, Mississippi River, and the Illinois/Iowa Quad City area. The first hole starts in the upper portion just north of the tennis courts with the remaining holes meandering throughout the park. Layouts of the course may be picked up at the Longview Park Greenhouse or at the Park Office, 1320 24th Street, Rock Island.
