    Join us for a structured play group for children ages birth to three years and their caregivers. Talk, sing and play your way to early literacy! Play and Grow is held inside the 30/31 Bookstore room. Each session includes structured play, modelling of early literacy skills, and information sharing.

    Kids can practice their reading skills by reading aloud twice each month to a therapy dog from QC Canine Assistance Network. Dogs make a great audience! Pre-K to 6th grades. Come read with Rover - and consider staying for the Pajama Storytime right afterwards!

Parks & Recreation

  1. Processing the John Hauberg Glass Plate Images- Talk

    March 5, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm @ Hauberg Center

    Come to the Hauberg Center and learn about John Hauberg through his own eyes as the Augustana College Special Collections Library presents a program about their work on the glass plate project. This project is cataloging and organizing JH's collection of over 7,000 photo images that he personally took. Highlights of photos will be presented as well as information about what life was like for the Hauberg family during their time on top of the 23rd Street Hill and their travels. Tour the entire house (including the normally restricted third floor) will follow the presentation by staff. Talk is presented by Samantha Crisp, Augustana Special Collections Librarian.

  2. Spring Egg Hunt

    March 28, 9:30 am @ Lincoln Park

    Bring your baskets and bags to gather eggs placed in age appropriate hunt areas around the park. There may even be a surprise visit from a very popular bunny! Rain location is at RIFAC.
