The 1st Annual Amazing Race is a course around the city designed to push participants out of their comfort zone in search of clues, completing challenges (mental & physical) and most of all having fun! Teams of 2-5 will compete starting from the Park and “racing” around Rock Island. To advance to the next checkpoint, team will have to complete a “challenge” in order to get their next clue. Some checkpoints will be judged and some checkpoints will be an activity that must be completed. At least one member of the team must have a driver’s license and their own transportation to get the team from checkpoint to checkpoint and a digital camera (or phone with photo capabilities). Amazing Race is suitable for families but children under the age of 10 and guests with limited mobility will find this program too strenuous.
