About the Park
The new park is named for former Mayor Mark Schwiebert (1989-2009) for his tireless efforts to promote public use of the riverfront.

Park Rental Information
Schwiebert Riverfront Park is the perfect place for a wedding, special event, other activities including picnics or parties with rental areas including:
- Observation shelter
- Stage and Great Lawn
- Triangle Lawn
- Entire park
2012 & 2013 Open for Reservations
The shelters are available for rental after April 1 each year.
