Enjoy the many trails in the Quad Cities with your family and friends. Walk, jog, bike, or rollerblade as much or as little of the many trails as you want and in any direction, starting from any location. The trails pass through many beautiful parks and other areas with a wide variety of amenities. If you need encouragement to take a rest during your ride, various hosts will be located throughout the loop with refreshments available. There will also be raffle tickets given out to anyone visiting any of the rest stops, so be sure to stop by as many as you can to help your chances of winning great prizes! The Amazing Race
Are you up for a challenge? Amazing Race is a course around the city designed to push participants out of their comfort zone in search of clues, completing challenges (mental & physical) and most of all having fun! Teams of 2-5 will compete starting from Schwiebert Riverfront Park’s Main Stage “racing” around Rock Island. To advance to the next checkpoint, team will have to complete a “challenge” in order to get their next clue. Some checkpoints will be judged and some checkpoints will be an activity that must be completed. At least one member of the team must have a driver’s license and their own transportation and a digital camera (or phone with photo capabilities). Amazing Race is suitable for families but children under the age of 10 and guests with limited mobility will find this program too strenuous.
