About the Park
Sunset Park sits on 250 acres of wooded park land featuring Lake Potter, a 50-acre protected lake, with outlet to the Mississippi. Sunset Park is the starting point for the 65 mile Quad Cities' bike path on the Riverway Trails system. Sunset Park is also home to the annual Recycled Float Race held every July 4th.

Sunset Park has two shelters available for a picnics or parties.

Open for Reservations
The shelters are available for rental after April 1 each year.
