1. Mayor Pauley will call the meeting to order.

2. Roll Call.

3. Pledge of Allegiance.

4. Invocation by Alderman Hotle.

5. Minutes of the meeting of January 13, 2014. (Motion whether or not to approve the Minutes as printed.) 

6. Update Rock Island by Mayor Pauley.
  7. Proclamation declaring January 2014 as National Mentoring Month.
RC*  8. A Special Ordinance amending Chapter 16, Article III, Sections 16-85.1 and 16-85.2 of the Code of Ordinances regarding sewer rates. (Motion whether or not to consider, suspend the rules and pass the Ordinance.)

a. Report from the Human Resources Department regarding payment in the amount of $90,000.00 to Kutsunis and Weng P.C. for Morgan Calhoun's General Liability Claim settlement

b. Report from the Public Works Department regarding payment #6 in the amount of $126,160.92 to Valley Construction for services provided for the Rock Island Landing at Schwiebert Park. (008)

(Motion whether or not to accept the reports and authorize payments as recommended.)
RC* 10. Claims for the week of January 10 through January 16 in the amount of $782,349.46. (Motion whether or not to allow the claims.)
RC*  11. Report from the City Clerk regarding a Resolution approving the full release of the listed Executive Session Minutes. (Motion whether or not to approve the full release of the listed executive session minutes as recommended and adopt the resolution.)

12. Report from the Community and Economic Development Department regarding the donation of three City properties at 1730 8th Avenue, 914 3rd Avenue and 922 3rd Avenue to The ARC of the Quad Cities. (Motion whether or not to approve the donation as recommended, authorize the City Manager to execute the contract documents and refer to the City Attorney for an ordinance.)
